TASK 5:
THE STRATEGIC LOCAL ACTION PLAN

The final task (before implementation) consists in the drafting of a document called “Local Action Plan”, based on the whole process carried out previously, for the implementation of the consolidated vision of the territory.

5.1 - Plan

Draft the Plan, including at least the following chapters:

  1. Context analysis.
    This chapter should include the results of the context analysis deriving from the accomplishment of TASK 0.
    The chapter should contain at least:
    • Context analysis
    • SWOT analysis, aiming at a more resilient community

  2. Definition of the “consolidated vision in the ideal situation”
    The contents should result mainly from the process carried out up to TASK 3, describing:
    • The stakeholder engagement processes carried out
    • The guiding criteria identified and their ranking
    • The feasibility analysis carried out
    • The consolidated vision in an ideal situation

  3. Definition of actions to pursue the different objectives.
    The contents should result mainly from TASK 4 and identify the pathways of transition from today to the consolidated vision.
    Each action should include the identification of
    a) the players in charge of the action and those contributing to the action;
    b) the means to realise the action;
    c) the resources needed to pursue the action and their origin;
    d) the (participatory) means of evaluation of the actions;
    e) the time-frame of the action;
    f) the overall communication strategy and a plan on the involvement of the local community to develop this strategic action plan.
  4. Accountability
    Describe the methodology to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the Plan and its impacts.
